Each year, TellCo Europe brings its partners together to explore the next wave of solar and off grid innovation. In 2026, we meet in Lugano, Switzerland for a focused two-day program on 28 and 29 May. The gathering sets the stage for our plans for 2026 and gives an early look at our newest Swiss solar technology. You will see progress in solar lighting, off-grid power, ConSOL containers, water pumping, cooling, and battery storage, all supported by clear and practical training material.
This event gives partners a direct preview of the opportunities ahead. You will hear what is changing in the market, where new demand is rising, and how TellCo Europe is shaping solutions that fit government needs, NGO programs, and financial groups for large-scale deployment. The sessions explain how our global program will grow in 2026 and how partners can take part in new pilots, joint ventures, and more.TellCoExperience 2026 is designed to help teams prepare for real projects. Projection show that the global lighting market is expected to have revenues of approximately $134 billion in 2020 – comparable to the global TV market. A number of megatrends underlie this expansion. Global population growth and urbanization are increasing the overall demand for lighting products. This is being accelerated by government regulation on energy efficiency around the globe.
The advent of LED technology – only the fourht lighting technology in the history of human mankind is set to transform this industry. LED technology has not achieved a competitive cost position in most applications up to now. But heavy investment from various companies is forecasted to cut costs at a rate of 30 percent per annum, and LED is becoming a broadly affordable technology.
