Our mission is simple yet impactful: to provide sustainable, clean, reliable, cost-effective and high-impact solar solutions for vital community institutions including schools, colleges, and universities — helping Indonesia reduce carbon emissions, lower energy costs, and build a more resilient future. Through state-of-the-art solar PV systems and energy-efficient technologies, we can help reduce operational costs, empower local communities in Java, and contribute to Indonesia's carbon reduction targets of over 30% by 2030 and net zero by 2060.
Our Partnership with Bechtel
To achieve our vision, TEI has partnered with Bechtel's local branch headquartered in Jakarta, Bechtel Indonesia, to help us with this project of installing solar PV systems in Java. Bechtel is a globally renowned engineering and project management company with over 125 years of experience in delivering complex energy projects. Bechtel serves as our trusted consultant and supervisor, ensuring the technical excellence and quality of all solar PV installations are present to help us provide sustainable solutions in Indonesia. This collaboration brings unparalleled expertise, confidence, and credibility to the project.

What We're Doing in Indonesia
Our transformative project aims to equip over 1,000 educational institutions with cutting-edge solar PV systems tailored to meet their energy needs:

These installations will save institutions up to 15% of their daytime energy costs during the rental period. The solar arrays will be donated to the institutions and they will be able to save 100% after the rental period if over, enabling them to reinvest funds into criticalservices such as hiring teachers, upgrading facilities, and purchasing advanced equipment.
