You as client are free to use any mobile money provider of your choice.
Decision Features
When creating a pay-as-you-go ecosystem, there are many choices, especially in the following key areas.
- How customer credit is measured – by energy use and/or by time?
- Will customers purchase daily allotments of usage or pay by the unit for non-expiring amounts of time or energy?
- How much will customers pay for energy or time?
- Which device will be used to measure and switch electricity?
- Who receives money at the end of the day? (E.g. micro-lenders)
- How money is moved from the customer?
We are happy to discuss both the technical and business implications of all these choices.
